I purchased this bag for everyday use but I decided to use it as my under the seat bag for when I’m traveling because it holds so much.Ordered for my husband to use for work gear.. he often opts for a laptop backpack with multiple work trips a month.. finds it easier to navigate thru airport etc. and in 2022- many in the corporate world have changed their standards- suit + briefcase optional! Needing to replace a bag of similar style as our 1st proved too small + lacked much needed organized storage. This seemed perfect in photos…This offers plenty of pockets and organizational space for those who need it. However, most pockets are tricky to get into- their zipper ends/pulls are tucked into the reinforced edges + corners.. or, pocket requires unzipping an entire front flap to gain access to interior compartments.. Not a dealbreaker- just not the ease we expected. The perks: you will have plenty of options for smaller items and far easier to find things!Material used is my least favorite- which I realize is a personal preference!! I expect if using backpack for a professional use in leuí of a briefcase- it needs to also look the part. This is slick like a rain jacket (ha! It even makes the noise of jacket material) I find this aesthetically comes off as a youthful school pack which I didn’t prefer. For purpose and price ($60-) I want bag to have both function AND fashion.. My expectations were more in line with treated denier cordura nylon (ie. jansport backpack material..) material is water resistant but, lacks a slickery sheen and feel yet, has reinforced strength.Overall, this may meet plenty of needs for people.. it is built solid and reinforced with plenty of organizational options- Although this wasn’t most ideal for us.. it’s not that anything is wrong, it just missed having the specifics we needed to be right. Hoping this info helps your decision- stay safe everyone!I needed a good black backpack to take to school which a laptop sleeve and plenty of functionality and this backpack did not disappoint! It looks great with a nice silky material in a shiny black.The straps are very comfortable and contains a nice holster to keep the attached together for a better and secure fit. They also contain plenty of padding that allows me to wear this backpack for plenty of hours without fatigue.There are two main zipper compartments. The smaller compartment in the front which has plenty of pockets and space for pens, pencils and smaller items. Then there is also the larger compartment which has plenty of space for my laptop with an added security strap which holds it in place. There are also zippered pockets inside that allow smaller items to stay organized inside the backpack. The really cool feature of this bag is that is also has an external charging port for easy access that can charge your phone on the go. You need to add a power bank on the inside and you're ready to go!I am very happy with the quality, style, and functionality of this backpack. I am really happy that I ordered this and has become my go to backpack for school or traveling. I would recommend it to anyone that needs a really good backpack! This will not disappoint you!Great product I love itI read a review which stated that the side straps with associated buckles seem to serve no worthwhile purpose - I agree; however, that's not a show-stopper. Unlike one review that I read I am not looking for something that is fashionable, but I do look for functional, which, in my book, this has. I spent 30 years in the US Navy and seek utilitarian value over fashion or looks any day (if something looks good but is not functional . . . well, what good is it?!). This unit is large enough to comfortably house my 17" MacBook Pro, all associated cables, the stand-alone CD player, and any other accessories I choose to carry. It also serves quite well as a hiking backpack. I like the fact - for hiking - that the shoulder straps have a cross-chest buckle for holding the shoulder straps together. I personally think this item is a very good value.I really like this bag with one caveat.Positive: well made; many useful pockets; sternum strap to ease the weight on the shoulders and chest. I particularly like the fact that the strong zippers can take small travel 'TSA' locks; this helps keep out prying fingers.The negative?I prefer a rougher ripcord surface , and the smooth cloth was not to my liking.Great laptop bag, very durable and strong, has a lot of compartments and very spacious, loved that they put a zipper at the back of the bag, has two side pockets to carry your water bottles. Has its own slot for laptop and still leaves room to to carry books. Very nice bag zippers are solid and strong as well.
