I’ve been searching for a backpack for an upcoming trip, and I thought I’d found one until this one came along, and now I know my search is definitely over! This backpack is made of sturdy canvas and has plenty of compartments for all my stuff while I’m traveling. On the front, there is a sizable pocket that is secured with a nice-sized flap with a good magnetic closure. Above that is a zippered pocket, and both of those are on the front of the smaller of the two main compartments that the bag has. This one is secured with a good-grade single zipper which has a small cord detail on the pull to assist with fastening. It has two open pouches and a slot for a pen, plus a tag with a removable key fob. Within this section, there is also another zippered pocket above the pouches. The larger main compartment is again fastened with the same-grade zipper as the previous one, but this one has a double zipper, which I really like for quick, easy access. This compartment has two padded sections for your laptop or tablet, then another one directly in front of it for cables, etc., which are secured by an elastic Velcro strap. To the right side, there is a USB port for a power pack that goes through to the outside of the bag so you can charge your devices on the go. It’s only a USB-A, so nowadays you will need an adapter for USB-C should you require one, but definitely a plus. On the outside of the bag, there is an elasticated pouch on each side for drinks bottles, and my 20oz Stanley water bottle fits in there with no issue. On the back side of the backpack, there is a zippered vertical pocket where I would keep my passport for travel, and I really like the security aspect of that, being close to me. Also, it has very padded straps for comfort on your shoulders and there is a nice robust luggage strap sewn into the rear of the backpack which slips easily over the handle of a suitcase when you want to take a rest. I also really like the lining; the light color makes it easy to see your things inside, where most bags have black lining, it’s almost impossible to see anything if you’re flying at night and the lights are dimmed on the plane. With this one, that won’t be an issue. Overall, I like the color, the features, the design and really don’t see any issues with this backpack whatsoever, and I would happily recommend it.
