I needed a medium sized backpack to take along for a day at the summer state fair. I wanted multiple compartments to keep water, food and trinkets separate. Also I didn't want anything really large and bulky while traversing crowded grounds like most multi compartment backpacks.I didn't research this bag much. I saw the picture, loved the look. Read a small handful of reviews, checked out the dimensions, and liked the fact that there's easy USB charging access.When I got the backpack I realized that I could not use this for intended use. If I had read the product description more closely, I wouldn't have bought it. But I was so impressed with it I decided to keep it.The only reason I can't use this is because of the material. It is extremely thick and waterproof. This would be uncomfortable to haul around outdoors in the hot summer sun. It won't be breathable between the bag and my skin. I can see this causing me to overheat more being physical in hot weather conditions.But this is a great tech backpack! The thickness is great for protecting electronics giving a little more protection than a standard backpack. Its medium sized and doesn't feel too bulky when walking around in crowded areas. The flat rectangle shape keeps it slim so you don't feel like your going to whack people when turning in crowded spaces. Material is sturdy and waterproof which is great to have when traversing in the rain.Many compartments! Plenty of areas to over organize multiple needs. You could easily turn this into an organized mobile office. The zippers are "soft". I have eczema on my hands and most zippers on bags tend to catch/scratch my skin. These do not catch my skin, and aren't cheesy plastic.I like the handles at the top. You can easily carry this around briefcase style if wearing it is inconvenient.I got the purple and black color scheme. I like how it can be for any age. No silly pattern, just bold colors. The color is just as pictured. Worth the price.
