I bought this pocket protector to replace the leather pen holder that I lost with my Zebra F 701 pen.This Hide and Drink protector exceeded my expectations because the leather is super soft, but sturdy enough that it won't slide out my front pocket without me knowing.The only caveat, is that I had to modify the outside flap by trimming the excess flap to make it short enough for the pen clips to sit flush without bending back. (Look at the pick)Now I can slide a pen, pencil and knife into my front pocket next to my phone with no knocks or scratches!So I should have paid more attention to the measurements in the description of item. I was certainly surprised by how small it was. It is a well made item for sure but I was disappointed how narrow it was. You can fit 4 pens comfortably in it but I had planned on putting a small pen flashlight a few specialty screwdrivers and a pen or two. I guess I had assumed it was as wide as a normal pocket. Unfortunately it's not. Like I said it is well made but just a bit smaller than expected. It is also a bit taller than a normal pocket, so it makes buttoning a bit difficult.Very nice! This appears to be very sturdy and durable. I bought it for work to hold small tools to have at an easy reach. So its gonna get tested. As of right now, I'm very pleased with this product. The leather is great. It's not hard and rigid. Very soft and pliable.Plus, the company that makes them has a great story.I am very pleased with my black leather pocket protector. I am using it in a pocket in my new purse for my pens hoping that they never leak but if they do hopefully this will protect the inside of my purse from staining and its also really nice the pens can't move around and are contained better.The craftsmanship of all Hide & Drink products are great. I find the pocket protector a handy way to organize pens and tools that I need quick access. I do not use it as a traditional pocket protector. I organize my items in the pocket protector and the protector fits into a pocket in my backpack computer case. I do not need to replace the pens and tools as the leather case grips the pens and tools well. I do not need to replace the items from lose saving me money. Well worth the cost.Very nice, sturdy quality. My only complaint would be the front flap. The double thickness of leather there means your pen and pencil clips will be bent out of shape if you secure them over that.I am so glad my co-worker asked me to locate a pocket protector for him, because I found Hide and Drink. The packaging and story is intriguing. The product is very well crafted.The company name is the best! I have checked out the website already and will be purchasing the bicycle wine case and other goodies for a Christmas presents.Love pocket protector it’s thick and well made very sturdy.
